FAQ’S
VINYL
What is a vinyl wrap?
A vinyl wrap is a large, adhesive-backed film applied over a vehicle’s painted surface to change its appearance. It can feature solid colors, textures (matte, gloss, satin, carbon fiber), or custom graphics for branding or personal style.
How long does a vinyl wrap last?
In the Coachella Valley, with its extreme sun and heat, a professionally installed vinyl wrap typically lasts between 3 to 5 years. The lifespan depends on exposure, maintenance, and the quality of materials used.
Will wrapping my vehicle damage the paint?
No. In fact, a vinyl wrap protects your vehicle’s paint from UV rays, minor scratches, and road debris. However, if the paint is already chipped or rusted, removal of the wrap could worsen the damage.
Can the wrap be removed?
Yes. Vinyl wraps are designed to be removable. When properly removed, they should not damage OEM paint. For older wraps or DIY installations, some adhesive residue may remain, which can be cleaned safely.
Design & Installation
Can I see what my wrap will look like before installation?
Yes. We provide digital proofs for your approval prior to printing. You will have a chance to review the layout, colors, and design before we begin production.
How long does installation take?
Most wrap installations take 1 to 3 days, depending on the size of the vehicle and complexity of the design. Full wraps may take longer than partial wraps or decals.
Do I need to prepare my vehicle?
Yes. Vehicles must be washed using only water and Dawn dish soap the day before drop-off. No wax or sealants. A dirty or oily surface can prevent the wrap from adhering properly.
Maintenance & Care
How do I clean my wrapped vehicle?
Hand wash only using a mild detergent and soft sponge or cloth. Avoid automatic car washes, pressure washing, or harsh chemicals. Do not use wax, polish, or clay bar on the wrap.
What happens if the wrap is damaged?
Individual panels can often be re-wrapped without replacing the entire wrap. Contact us for an evaluation and quote.
Will the wrap fade or discolor over time?
High-quality vinyl resists fading, but the desert sun in the Coachella Valley can degrade the finish faster. Parking in shade, using a car cover, or storing your vehicle indoors will significantly extend the life of your wrap.
Legal & Warranty
Is the wrap covered under warranty?
Yes. We offer a 1-year limited warranty covering installation defects like peeling, lifting, or bubbling under normal conditions. It does not cover damage from improper care, accidents, or environmental exposure.
Will my insurance cover a vinyl wrap?
Some insurance companies may cover vinyl wraps under customization or accessory clauses. Check with your provider to ensure proper coverage.
Can I wrap a leased vehicle?
Usually, yes. Since wraps are removable, they’re a great option for leased vehicles. Always verify with your lease agreement or provider.
